Doubra Fufeyin is a trained Commonwealth lawyer, model, ex Beauty queen, poet and mother. A qualified early years practitioner specialising in child development and safeguarding. She is the author of the book ''MY BOOK OF POEMS''
The love for words started very early in her life, she fell in love with books and it is no wonder that she has written one herself. She is very passionate about the beauty of the human mind and aims to make sense of her immediate environment and the world at large using poetry.
She is a member of the croft poetry club. Several of her poems have been published in ''The Croft Poetry Club'' of Orpington anthologies.
She was chosen to deliver her poem ''THE LOST ONES'' to mark the 100th centenary commemoration of world war 1on November 9th 2018 at All Saints church Orpington. More recently her poem was featured in the ''Life'' an Orpington magazine. She greatly enjoys writing poetry and is known to say, ''I can write poems to save my life''.
For some reason it started,
They fought and it lasted,
Then their lives were wasted,
In the dailies pictures painted,
It does not remove the sorrow,
But we will not wallow,
But we will stand to remember a void so hollow.
